ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Abstracts must be in Turkish or English.
- The title and text of the papers must be formatted using Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment, and 3 cm margins on all sides.
- The academic title(s) and full name(s) of the author(s) must be placed below the title. Institutional information (University / Faculty / Department) must be provided on the line immediately below, followed by the ORCID ID and e-mail address on the next line.
- Abstracts must be between 200 and 300 words. The abstract must include the purpose, method, findings, and discussion, as well as at least 3 keywords.
- Since the abstracts will be published, no changes can be made after submission. Authors are responsible for ensuring that there are no spelling or writing errors.
The acceptance process for papers to be presented at the Congress will be completed following the evaluations of the referees (Congress Scientific Committee). Referees may request revisions from the authors if deemed necessary.
Presentation duration:
Oral presentations will consist of 10 minutes for the presentation followed by 5 minutes of question-and-answer session. The Session Chair may grant additional 2–3 minutes upon the author’s request.
Oral presentations must be delivered on the announced session date and time by one of the authors previously notified to the organizing committee, using PowerPoint or similar presentation software.
FULL PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Full papers must be between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
- In preparing the manuscripts, the writing guidelines of “Yeni Yüzyıl’da İletişim Çalışmaları,” published by the Faculty of Communication at İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University must be followed. (https://icd.yeniyuzyil.edu.tr/)
- Manuscripts must be written in Times New Roman. Titles and subtitles must be 12-point, bold, and in ALL CAPS; the Abstract must be 11-point; footnotes must be 8-point. The entire manuscript must be written with single line spacing and justified alignment, with 3 cm margins on all sides
- The paper must be submitted in MS Word Document format.
- The paper may include high-resolution visuals suitable for digital format.
- Below the title of the paper, the author(s) must include their Academic Title, Full Name, University Name, Faculty Name, Department Name, e-mail address, and ORCID number.
- Main headings must be numbered after the INTRODUCTION section.
- The MAIN HEADINGS of the study must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS, while Subheadings must be written with the Initial Letters Capitalized. For example;

- Footnotes and references must be formatted according to APA 7 style.
- In-text citations must be given in the form of (Author's Surname, Year, Page No.) for direct quotations, or (Author's Surname, Year) for general references.
